Class Descriptions
Ballet
This technique-focused dance form has set the foundation for technique used in countless other genres. Ballet holds very important fundamentals for dance (though not ALL dance styles), and requires a large amount of dedication.
Jazz
There are many different variations of jazz including: African jazz, Jazz-Pop, Classic Jazz and more. Though this style of dance is very technique based, it is also a very performative and high energy class.
Hip-Hop
HipHop is one of the most popular and influential styles of dance. It combines a variety of freestyle movements to create art. This class includes appropriate rap, hip-hop and pop songs and will bring you out of your shell.
Contemporary
This style of dance is a favorite among our dancers. It is a very artistic style of dance infused with ballet and modern dance, focused on creating shapes and patterns with our bodies while telling a story.
Acro
Acro is a style of dance that blends acrobatic elements with traditional dance styles to create one beautiful piece of art. It has grown in popularity over the years and is now one of the most common styles you see at dance competitions. This styles takes a tremendous amount of strength and discipline in order to progress in your skills.
Itty Bitty
starting at age 3, this class focuses on getting your little one prepared for the the dance studio environment and getting into the very early basics of ballet etiquette in a fun, creative manner.
Progressions
Progressions is a class focused on dances strength, flexibility and technique. Each week will be focused on a different concept and will be filled with exercises to push dancers bodies and encourage growth as an all-around dancer.
